Description: BACKGROUNDLao PDR has 10 laws and other subsequent decrees in the health sector: Law on Medicines and Medical Products; Law on Hygiene, Disease Prevention and Health Promotion; Law on Food; Law on Health Care; National Tobacco Control Law; Law on HIV/AIDS Control and Prevention; Law on Alcoholic Beverage Control; Communicable Disease Law; Law on Vaccination; and Law on National Health Insurance.
